[HELP!] Problem with Sansa Clip Zip
« on: August 03, 2012, 07:17:14 AM »
Italian Version:

Ciao a tutti,

English Version:
Hi!
2 days ago I noticed a serious problem on my Clip Zip 4GB (with a 16GB SD).
When I was using it, it crashed and didn't boot anymore. I immediately tried to connect the player to the PC to upgrade RockBox and I temporarily fix the problem. I completely recharged the battery and everything seemed to work  fine!
But yesterday I saw another serious problem. The player is dead. The battery is full but it doesn't boot. Black screen everywhere, I tried to connect it to my PC's USB ports but nothing, I also tried to connect it to the AC with an adaptor but nothing again.
What can I do?
Thanks a lot guys!

It sounds like it has crashed with the screen off.  You'll need to leave it a few days for the battery to run down, then it should be fine again.  I'd recommend then installing the latest dev build.

The battery was 100% when it has crashed, if the problem is what you said, how many days I must wait to try to fix it?
It has crashed 3 days ago and I bought it few months ago, the battery was new.

PS: Sorry 4 my bad english but I'm italian  :D Ciaoooo!

I've solved the problem! I think you were right!
I have updated the RB's build and I'm hoping that everything will be all right!
Thank u for the tips!
