Clip Zip: weird strident noise

Hello,
This is the first time I rockbox a MP3 player, so I don't know if that's normal with the Clip Zip since the port isn't entirely done, but I can hear a weird noise coming from my Clip Zip when the screen is on (nothing when the screen doesn't display anything). Is that normal? Should I be worried? It goes like "eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee".
I only can hear it when I put the player against my ear, but still.

edit: I'm sorry if it's not an hardware issue, but I feel like it is.

Yes it does. Well I didn't uninstall rockbox, just booted on sansa firmware.
What does this mean ): ?

edit: It's not annoying one bit since I have to put the player against my ear to hear it, but I'm not so sure it's a normal thing, tried some google on the matter without success...
