Wherever you want!

The file browser in Rockbox lets you simply browse to where the files are, and play them. :)

Also, tagcache can organize them the way you're used to with album/artist/genre, and doesn't care where the songs are either, as it scans the whole drive.

Have you restarted the Ipod after running it?

Like, a proper shut down (hold play)?

Well, I have to ask. Are these songs that you copied over with iTunes, and then also copied over with disk mode?

yeah.. it can see your itunes db of songs as well.. are those the doubles you are referring to?
If not.. you simply copied them twice .... somehow

Well, it could also be a bug. The TagCache is far from perfect yet. But it's always best to look for non-bug related causes first, and try to rule out as many of those as possible. The next question would be "When was the last time you downloaded a new build?"

Ok, their seemed to be a hidden folder full of music that didn't erase for some reason and that was causing the multiple files.

I'm betting that was the ipod control folder (where iTunes hides all your music)

You can store video, but you can't play them with rockbox :(

Please Code a Bootloader like IPL,

pusing to buttons to switch the firmware stucks me...
