Trouble with Micro SD cards in Sansa e250 v1
(1/1)
LOTL:
I just upgraded to the newest stable version 3.11.2 for the Sansa e200 v1 and all seemed to go and work well.
I put a 16 and 32GB micro SDHC in and neither are recognized. Both are Sandisk cards, bought from different retailers and i do believe both are legit Sandisk cards.
I stuck a Kingston 1GB micro SD card in and it was detected.
I thought Rockbox supported 32gb micro SDHC card or least 16GB cards?
Both were formatted FAT32, so im not sure what the issue is here.
Post Merge: August 01, 2012, 08:45:04 AMAs embarrassing as this is, i figured id post back what i found. I decided to use a utility SD Formatter from https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter_3/ to format the card.
After the long formatting time, i put the card back in with the same results.
While pushing in on the card to eject it, it pushed into the slot further and locked in fully. After that the 32GB card showed up.
Why the heck the 1GB card showed up partially inserted i dont know.
Anyways i can say that a Sandisk 32GB Micro SDHC card will work with a Sansa e250 V1.
