iPod 4th Generation - Broken
« on: July 25, 2012, 02:18:02 PM »
Hello dudes. Wanted to ask a simple yes or no question.

I have a 4th Generation iPod Classic that broke very unexpectedly. Took it too the apple store, they said they cannot do anything about it, and my warranty ran out. So I was wandering, can I install ROCKbox on an iPod that is broken, and won't show up on my devices?

No, you'll need to get the ipod working before you can install anything on it.

Never mind then. Not sure how or why it broke, but it won't charge or appear on my PC, or other PC's for that matter.
