Quickscreen improvement (?) suggestion

(1/1)

As the Quickscreen currently functions, if I understand it correctly, each of the 4 positions is a toggle, or single-direction increment.  So, for example, if I want to use it to quickly adjust sound settings, such as Bass and Treble, I need to use 2 of the four places for each (ie Bass up, Bass down, Treble up, Treble down), in order to be able to increment or decrement without having to scroll all the way through the available settings until it goes through zero and back up again.  If there was a way to "enter" each of these 4 Quickscreen positions, and then make changes up or down with the scroll wheel, it would be a more efficient use of the Quickscreen real estate, so to speak.  For example, in my own scenario above, I can only get Bass and Treble settings on the Quickscreen, whereas it would be useful to also have Stereo Width and (insert other function here).
I don't code, so I have no idea if this is possible, but... it would be nice.

look at the shortcuts menu and the option to use it instead of the quickscreen

freedom2:

According to the manual, there should be an entry under Settings>General>System that says "Use Shortcuts menu instead of Quickscreen", but I'm not finding it... am I missing a step somewhere?

JdGordon:
no, you're probably using a release build then instead of the dev build.
