WAWA01:
I was defragging the main partition where (RB is installed) using defraggler, I don't know if it finished the defrag proccess but both drives weren't listed anymore when I checked.
I tried to disconnect and connect the player but it wasn't recognized, I tried to press the power button for more than 30 seconds several times but nothing happened.
I tried different USB ports, different cord, pressing the power and left buttons, pressing the power button repeatedly, nothing.
I had the latest version of RB installed and was using it for a few weeks.
Can anyone help please ?

It is likely you will need to wait for the battery to exhaust itself. This may take a few days.
For what its worth, although it is of no use in hindsight, there is no reason to defrag flash based devices. Doing so can even have a detrimental effect by way of unnecessary reads/writes. Defragging is useful for spinning platters as it can make sure that the data is closer to the access arm, and contiguous, flash drives have no moving parts...so this is of no concern to them.

Thanks for the help and the info, I didn't know that.
When I connect my headphones I can hear a very low hiss so I figure this will increase the speed of discharge.
I also connected about 3 meters of extension cable between the headphones and the player to increase the resistance.
I suppose that when the battery dies I could simply connect the player to the PC.
Should I reinstall Rockbox to prevent this from happening again ?

I just put in a fix that will hopefully prevent it from freezing in such a way that you can't use the power button to reset. So yes, if you're going to use rockbox I would update to the dev build, as that will have the fix that will hopefully prevent this problem.

Great, thank you for the hard work.
