Brand New Fuze V2 Bricked
« on: July 20, 2012, 04:47:24 PM »
Got it in the mail yesterday from Sansa Outlet.   Installed stable build of rockbox.  I disconnected it from my pc running ubuntu if that helps, and i got a panic message.     now the player appears to be completely dead.  No noise coming from headphones, hard reset doesn't work, is there anything i can do besides hoping it works again in a few days?

Its probably reboot itself by now.  I would update your build, I just put a fix in for the hard lock on reboot problem (at least I think I did).

Hi, i am new here, are you the devloper? i also bought my fuze v2 recently ( meh i cant get brand new so i get REFURB ones :P ) .. and that "hard lock" / "deep sleep" thing rly scare me off haha .. the meathod wait 2~3 days rly works but now the problem comes again :( ... i did some searching and it seems this prob comes from "USB Mode" is there anyway to completely disable it on RockBox ? i dont mind to boot into official firmware too put up musics

p/s : even tho i did eject it properly there is a chance ( 40~60% ) it will normal freeze the device ( 15 sec hold power button do the fix tho )
and about 10~20% chance to it will "hard lock" / "deep sleep" the device .. well thats what i think  ;)

pss : sry for my bad eng XD
