My ClipZip has an odd problem - when I plug it into Windows, the internal drive shows up as 4GB of unformatted space. The microSD card works normally, and I can browse the internal drive from within Rockbox fine.
The other problem is I can't boot into the original firmware - it hangs on boot and I have to hold the power button down to do a hard reset.
Other than these two issues, the player works normally.
I've tried a couple of windows machines with the same result and I don't have a linux machine available at the moment.
I thought I could copy the original firmware to the SD card, then copy it using Rockbox to the internal drive, but I don't seem to be able to copy to another drive.
Any suggestions?
