"Search on playlist" trouble

Hi people! As first announcement, I have to say that my english its so poor, so I hope to explain myself shortly.

Well, I have an IPOD Video with a 240GB (and over 34.000 tracks).

I really don't know why, sometimes, on Playlist->Search on Playlist, if I search a smart work (like "Hello", nothing special with extra character) it takes few seconds (really... 4-5 seconds max); sometimes instead it takes many minutes (like 10-15 minutes). It is so "frozen".

Why this behaviour? There is no a special moment when it is slow or fast : just randomly it takes different times.

I don't use the "database" function, just playlist with the tracks "added" randomly.

Hope that someone can help me to find out the solution.
