A few weeks ago I installed version 3.11.2 and everything was fine... Until today. When I turn the player on it says "Boot 4.0" and freezes. Alternatively, when I force it off (via 20 sec) and plug it into the USB port, it shows the Sansa logo, then says "Not enough space for music DB. Please free 90MB."
What am I supposed to do?? The player does not show up as an external memory device! How can I free the 90MB? I can't believe it bricked, there must be some way to boot it up! Please help!

Okay... Finally, after dozens of attempts, it appeared as an unknown hardware device with a stupid message from OS, but allowed me to format it, which I did, and then re-loaded the original firmware. Now I am really hesitating to install rockbox, because I don't want it to brick once again. Which firmware version of Rockbox is solid as rock in terms of reliability? I don't care about features now, all I need is gapless FLAC playback without effects and NO crashes, NO freezes, and NO FAT failures. Which version should I use?
