Actually, I do have a patch that changes something about the driver, that could perhaps help you, at the expense of a possibly little higher power consumption (i.e. lower battery runtime). Please let me know if you want to try that.
Hi,I am not sure my issue is related to this one, I bought a new sansa fuze v2 and successfully rockboxed on Wednesday and copied music files to SD card and sorted under multiple folders like old songs one folder and new ones another folder,etc...then yesterday I played the music from one folder without any problem until the last song finished and I tried to switch to the menu then it got stuck with message showing "loading", device was frozen none of the keys were functioning and tried to connect the device using usb cable to laptop and it was not detected there too. All this time display and blue light was on without any blinkering Only option left for me to dry out the battery.Today again I charged the device and played music from another folder and same happened again and waiting for the battery to dry out meantime I googled and found this thread.Any help would be appreciated.TIA
A rockbox build from today with the patch can be found athttps://docs.google.com/open?id=0ByItZAj1MynOdjBPSkNHTHdud0kThis disables a feature that completely powers down the sd card controller between accesses.
I think RockBox isn't powerful enough to support class 10 cards, but my only working card that's large enough is class 10

That's not what my research suggests.
