can i disable double function of a sansa clip+ when playing?

Well, the problem i have is that my father is blind, and is not much friendly with the technology  so, i search in internet some mp3 with blind capabilities, and i found that rockbox is the best choice, so i buy it a sansa clip+ for him, but the problem that he have, is when he is playing, sometime he push to much time the middle or the up and down buttons and he get stuck in the alternate menu (menu like change rate) , is there a way than i can disable the alternate options? i don't have a problem to recompile. in which file can i find that? OK, thank anyway, and keep going doing such great work with this software. Greetings

in firmare/configs/sansa-clipplus.h delete the line that has #define HAVE_QUICKSCREEN and recompile
