Clip+ now only plays w/ orig. firmware

My Clip+ wasn't even turning on w/ either firmware. Then I got a tip on here to plug it into computer, quickly take it out and factory reset it. I did this, and now it will start w/ Sansa firmware if I press the 2 buttons at once, but otherwise says "no firmware" and shuts off. How do I reload Rockbox, as Loader malfunctions when I direct it to my device?

Just reinstall rockbox normally.

Rockbox install utility hangs a few seconds and shuts down when I direct it to the Clip+ drive on computer. And manual installation - well both of my PCs block mkamsboot. I even tried running as administrator, and said I trusted the software and had used it before. They shut mkamsboot down in a nanosecond. :'(

Post Merge: July 06, 2012, 05:15:13 AMUsually RB installer recognizes my device automatically. I just tried it again, named specifically which player I have, and it seems to have installed.  :-\
