Ipod Classic 6G Not Downloading Music Files from PC after Installing Rockbox

Hi,

I have just installed the latest version of emCORE/ Rockbox (r859 (2012-01-02)) on my ipod 6th gen 80GB.

The installation went fine and have downloaded about 16GB worth of music.

The player seems to be working fine when using it.

However I am trying to drag & drop some more music onto my ipod from my PC and its not working.

It comes up with the error message 'Cannot copy said song: Cannot find the specified file. Make sure you specify the correct path and file name'

The ipod folder on the computer goes blank and the ipod freezes, making me have to unplug the ipod and press menu/select to reboot it.

Has anyone else experienced this and more importantly sorted it out? I have tried to use the support service for emcore on their website but it isnt very user friendly.

Can someone help?

First of all update your build. There have been rather important fixes for the 6G during the last half year.

Tried that build

Same thing occured

Just seems strange it uploaded okay at first and then it stopped working
