Sansa E280 v2 install problems...

This clearly indicates that it's not a v2. Rockbox Utility would have detected this player correctly unless there is a wrong installation on it. Why do people not use this functionality? There has quite a bit of work put into making sure not to produce wrong results (and instead rather not detect in some cases)? :(
