Menu item "user rating" has been replaced by "tempo"

(1/1)

JohnML:
Rockbox svn version 2f1da04-120627 has no "user rating" any more in the context menu of a title ( -> long press on the select button, when a title is playing)

Instead there is a menu item "tempo"

I have a Sansa Clip+ and i love Rockbox :-))

I allready filed a bug report but perhaps i missed something that has changed in the rockbox UI

Rating

The menu entry is only shown if Gather Runtime Information is enabled. It allows the assignment of a personal rating value (0 – 10) to a track which can be displayed in the WPS and used in the Database browser. The value wraps at 10.

My guess is that you've recently reset your settings and have run time information and/or the database disabled.

Bug reports should be actual bugs, not requests for someone to help you with something.  We have the forum for tech support.

This sounds to me like a lang file not matching the build, perhaps caused by filesystem errors. There isn't a menu that has been replaced.

JohnML:
After enabeling "Gather Runtime Information" and rebuilding database the menu entry "Rating" appeared again ... thank you !!
