Fuze+ : Microphone implementation?

I'm wondering if there's any plans in the works to get recording features on the Fuze+ running? I've noticed it's at 0% in the current build view. I would love to have a running recording feature on my player under rockbox. If there's no current development, how hard is it usually to get the recording feature running in a rockbox build? I have some coding experience, but none playing around with rockbox.

The recording feature of an MP3 player is always something I end up using, I'd hate to see it get no development at all.

Its usually not too hard to get recording working, and the hardware on the Fuze+ is well documented.  I'm guessing its just a matter of figuring out more important things first.
