Sansa Clip + One track only
« on: June 25, 2012, 05:52:15 AM »
Is it possible to let the Sansa clip play only one track and then stop?
I would like to know if there is an excisting theme that makes this possible.

You can create a playlist that contains exactly a single track (clear the playlist using the menu, then add the track you want to play using the context menu).

And this has nothing to do with themes. Themes change the appearance, not the functionality.

So there is no real "play once" setting like there is on Cowon and Creative players? Have been trying to get away from both of those companies and just use my Clip Zip to teach classes, but I have a feeling it's a no go. Seems like a simple playback feature to add. I'd even donate to that cause. I need to play albums or playlists of 10 tracks and have short breaks in between tracks while people change up weights.

Other then making multiple playlists, I don't think there is any simple way to do that.

Thanks for that. I just emailed Linus about that, the guy that created the patch because I have no idea how to implement it into the Clip Zip build. If someone knows how to get it done, there's a paypal donation for a couple of beers headed your way.
