(1/1)
Willmannn:
Hello I have had rockbox on my iPod nano 1g (newest firmware ) and I had it plugged into iTunes while the hold was on and while the iPod was off, the iPod booted up to the apple logo and froze, so I did the menu+select and it turned off and now it won't come back on and iTunes or anything won't recongize it. Don't tell me I need to charge it because I already have. I have tried everything!!! Please help me!!!! If all else fails I'm sending it to apple because of the recall thingy and get a new 6th gen iPod nano but I do want to fix it before I send it to apple so please PLEASE!!!! Help mee!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you tried to mount the player via disk mode?
If so, have you checked for filesystem errors?
As a side note, the iPod Nano1G recall finished *months* ago, so, sorry....but no, you won't be able to return it.

First, you need to use a lot less exclamation marks. They won't help.
Second, can you access the player filesystem if you (a) shutdown Itunes and (b) connect the player to the PC? What OS are you using? Can you access the player when setting it into emergency disk mode? Does the OS display something unusual in that case? Does it show up as drive?
