Can I use the device while charging?
(1/1)
djfonplaz:
I have an Ipod Video Rockboxed, and I'd like to know if I can use it (with rockbox) while is charging battery. That's why I'd like to, before disconnect it, doing a "research" (so it will buffer playlist in some manner) or making a new playlist (I have 235gb of music) without using battery.
Is it possible?
P.S. Yah, that "search in playlist" behaviour is strange. Sometime it is quick, sometimes very slow...dunno why...
gevaerts:
You can use it while it's charging. The manual says how (you hold a button while connecting).
I have *no* idea what the rest of your question means.
djfonplaz:
Well thank you. Unfortunatly I can manage files from the computer with this modality, right?
My second question was :
Why, when I go to Playlist->Search in Playlist, sometimes for searching a track it takes 4-5 minuts, and sometimes few seconds? Is there a cache/buffer?
saratoga:
The disk can be mounted by rockbox or the computer over USB but not by both at the same time or you would get corruption.
The load database to ram option may be useful.
djfonplaz:
I don't use database function, just "create random playlist". After the first "search" it become faster. That's why I think it will lost when I charge it?
