Sansa ClipZip won't load
« on: June 10, 2012, 09:41:02 PM »
I got the new Firmware installed, it somehow corrupted my entire partition. So I went back, and after having some difficulty with getting into the original firmware I was able to get into the original firmware and reformat it. Now it's saying that I have a corrupt FAT and while the drives pop-up in Windows I am completely unable to go into the drives, any attempts to go into them leads to a loading bar that continues forever. Same with trying to format it from a command line. So, while it can boot to the original firmware, I am unable to do anything inside the original firmware and I cannot do anything to the internal memory. I have uninstalled the devices, reinstalled, changed USB ports, etc. All to no avail.

It took me over an hour to do a full format and now it loads properly. I'm not sure I'll ever trust Rockbox to run on my Clip Zip.
