cannot find autorun program

Trying to run Rockbox utility results in "cannot find autorun program."  ???

Err ... there is no such thing as autorun on Linux. How exactly are you trying to run Rockbox Utility?

After installing on ClipZ I left clicked on the installed Rockbox utility folder and then left clicked on the Rockbox utility gear symbol shown in the folder. Thank you.

Can you be a little more detailed?  Maybe its just me, but I use ubuntu and rbutility and I can't understand this.

I'd like to send a screenshot of my desktop but I don't know how to load it into a reply. Thanks. I'm out of my depth with this problem so I will just use the stock operating system for my ClipZ. Thanks for your help.

This sounds like the same problem that I had. See post 4 on this thread...

In short... move RockboxUtility to Ubuntu Desktop and run from there.
