Issue With The Clip Zip
AlexP:
From you original message it sounded like you were saying that Rockbox was failing to boot, not that the clip wouldn't turn on at all. These two are quite different.
The manual tells you how to boot the OF (hold left while turning on IIRC).

Here's what happens...
The clip only turns on for a split second when initially plugged into the usb (laptop or charger).
I get the rockbox home screen for half a second before I get the panic screen and then shuts off. I've tried but, there's not enough time to boot into the sandisk firmware and once it goes off it stays off.
Post Merge: June 05, 2012, 05:55:24 PMAnd just as I tried again after finishing writing my last post, it worked and went into the original firmware, so I'm officially an idiot.
Pretty sure I can figure it out from here.
Thanks for all your help folks, much appreciated.

I've got this message with a Nano Ipod. I'm going to try deleting the database files and seeing if that helps
