Any possiblity of dual play?
« on: June 04, 2012, 06:19:16 AM »
Hey guys,

one thing I love to do is to listen to some rain in the evenings (like the rainymood web) and also at the same time listen to a track. Any way I could do this on rockbox?

And just from interest, how would the battery life be affected if (not including the HW limitations) a constant plugin ran in the background, which would play an mp3 file? Cut in half?

There is no support for multiple things to be using the audio driver at once in Rockbox. If a plugin plays audio, then you can't play any music.

Actually we do have an audio mixer so you should be able to mix plugin audio now.
