IMHO it is not Sandisk fault. With original firmware WITHOUT RockBox i don't have any problems with uSD cards. When I install RB (and patch the bootloader), Sandisk firmware don't start when card is inserted.

Since you've been using quotes, what do you mean by "fresh installation"? Did you erase the .rockbox folder before reinstalling? If not I'd remove all database files from the player first (/.rockbox/*.tcd). I'd also check both player and card for filesystem errors.

Patching the firmware has literally zero impact on the OF, so its probably not related.

Fresh means: I format Sansa and made a clean install. Tried both way: Utility and manual. Cards are fine - tested 4 different cards (2x 1GB, 2x 2GB). Card insterted = no Sandisk firmware.
But it's OK (for me), I very rarely use the Sandisk software so it's not a big problem.

Sorry, I'm just saying how it is with me.

1. RB installed + uSD inserted = Sandisk firmware don't boot (stuck at "SanDisk").
2. Only OF installed = no problem with firmware and uSD cards.

Probably once you uninstall the rockbox bootloader you will find that it still doesn't work.
