Can't copy files to Fuze v1

Whenever I try to copy several files to my sansa fuze at one time (an album or whatever), it only gets about halfway through before it stops copying and just sits there.  Clicking cancel causes Windows Explorer to stop responding.  If I unplug my player, I have to reset it before it will turn back on.  I'm using Rockbox 3.11.2 with bootloader version 2.0.

I had a similar issue one other time, and replacing the USB cord solved the issue.  However, I would think if the USB cord was faulty, it wouldn't copy any files at all.

Any help with this would be appreciated.

I have the same problem but transferring with musicbee , but my fuze displays "undefined instruction 32ea029c"

It's probably not your hardware.  It seems like the USB is pretty much unusable right now for any significant transfers.  I can transfer all day long on the OF, but with Rockbox USB it will always crash within about an album's worth of MP3s.  It's been reported a number of times, but I'm not sure if anyone is working on it or not.

It wouldn't mind using the OF to do transfers, but I've got a lot of files on the player and waiting 20-30 minutes for it to update the database before you can connect is a drag.  I hope someone is able to figure it out.
