Cowon X5 can't load rockbox
(1/1)
DustyTill:
Hello, I have a Rockbox with a new 240 GB HDD. It has work good for a fex weeks, but one day it shutdown when I was walking and it shows me that since all this time : "Result File not found. Error ! Can't load rockbox.iaudio : unknown". Rockbox.iaudio was in the .rockbox directory. After I put it in the root directory and it shows me :"Result : read failed (chksum) Error ! Can't load rockbox.iaudio : unknown" So can you tell me please how to solve this problem ? Thanks
bluebrother:
1. rockbox.iaudio needs to be in the .rockbox folder, unless you have a really old bootloader.
2. If you get a checksum error you likely have installed a Rockbox build for a different version (x5 vs m5 maybe?)

Ok, when I put rockbox.iaudio in .rockbox folder, it says that : "Result: File not found. Error ! Can't load rockbox.iaudio : unknown". I have installed Rockbox manually and with Rockbox Utility, but same result. I have chosen the X5 built.

Do you think my HDD is broken ?
