Bricked Ipod Nano 2g

Help please, installed Rockbox no problems but now pc will not recognise ipod & I can't boot to the original Apple firmware. Whem I connect to the pc the screen shows the usb icon but the pc does not recognise the ipod. Please help.

What happens when you boot into Apple's Disk Mode?
