Can't find "Use Shortcuts Menu Instead of Quick Screen"

Hello,

I'm using an brand new Sansa Clip+ with a brand new rockbox-installation. Very nice! :-)
It would be nice to get the shortcuts menu from everywhere with one button. In the manual there is described that in "General Settings" -> "System" is the option "Use Shortcuts Menu Instead of Quick Screen". That's maybe what I want. But I don't have this option! Where is it? What can I do?
Anyone with the same problem?

This looks like it was added on 2012-03-28, probably after the 3.11 freeze.

If by brand new you mean version 3.11, you might have more luck with the current build.

It's the last stable version 3.11.2
Didn't know that the manual can be for a newer/unstable version!?
In the Simulator-tool I can find the option...

the manual (usually) reflects the current development state of rockbox. the actual releases will end up being behind the development builds (and manual) occasionally. This is why you're seeing it it in the sim (built nightly-ish i tinhk) and not in the release build.

The manual on the site is updated daily for the current development version; there is a downloadable manual (linked from the top of the page) which covers the stable release.
