I purchased a Clip+ last week; I didn't even try the pre-loaded software I installed Rockbox straight away and I'm LOVING IT!!
I have used Rockbox on my iPod before and had several problems. I'm not sure what was causing it but I needed a smaller player with a radio and decided to go for the Clip+ because of all the great reviews it's had and also as it's so cheap. I've been looking through all the settings changing things around and just generally seeing what could be done and it seems so much more stable than the iPod port. I love it.
To everyone who worked on this port a huge thankyou for making a really good player even better. Also I had seen pictures of it prior to purchase but it's not until you actually see it for real that you realise just how small it is. It really is amazing!
