Any way to easily create playlists?

Is there any other way to create playlists? I can't see myself clicking on every single file I copy onto my player and opening context menu and clicking add to playlist. That's awkward.
Can't I for example somehow grab playlists created by Winamp and put them there? I have no idea what is the sctructure of the files, but they should be plaintext and just paths, right?

bluebrother:
The manual has a whole section on playlists.

Octopuss:
Yes I saw that. The manual only covers how to work with playlist from within Rockbox. That's not what I asked about.

searching the forum will bring up threads on the subject that may provide some pointers. I would suggest just trying it out yourself and see what works for you.

I create playlists [m3u extension] outside of rockbox and they work just fine. They can be placed anywhere you want and rockbox will find them. I put them in a directory named playlist outside of .rockbox directory. They could also be placed within .rockbox.

Of course, the playlist needs to reflect your individual tracks location in your instance of rockbox.

Yes, rockbox uses M3U playlists, which is in fact the format Winamp invented for their playlists.
