[Solved] Rockbox remembers last location in skipped tracks. How can I prevent th
« on: April 13, 2012, 07:22:23 PM »
I occasionally skip a track after part of it has already played. When I do, the next time that song plays, it starts from where I skipped. I could be (probably am) wrong, but it seems to be bookmarking them even though everything under General Settings>Bookmarking is set to "No." Does anyone know what's happening here and how to stop Rockbox from doing this? It's very annoying to have a song I haven't listened to for a couple days start playing halfway (or wherever) through...

P.S. I'm using 3.11.2 on a Clip+. Version 3.10 did the same thing.

Are you playing from the database and have Settings > General Settings > Automatic resume set to yes?

Just checked and, yes, automatic resume is set to "yes..." :-[ I don't remember turning it on, but now it's off and the problem is gone.

Thank you!
