« on: April 09, 2012, 01:13:23 PM »
Hello, I would know how update the database simply, because when I do it, it seems to re-built all the database, I have two make several manipulations and it takes a lot of time (a least 1 hour). I have the DirCache and Auto Update enabled, but it doesn't works and I have to make Update Now. Thanks for your help.

Any thought to mention what player you are using? With my Clip 2gig any sort of database update or full rebuild takes 5 seconds or so. You might want to clearly state exactly what steps you are using to update.

I use a 240 Gb Cowon X5. I click on update now, I wait a while, I shutdown my Cowon, and wait the rebuild of all the database.

As you have been asked before, please do not bump your posts.

I don't use the database myself so can't help.

I would like to not bump my posts, but I get no answers and I don't know how to solve my problem in another way.

You are not allowed to bump your posts. If you keep doing it you will get banned from the forum. If people don't answer, then that's unfortunate but doesn't make you an exception to the rules.
