Background music player for audiobooks

(1/1)

sanik_s:
Is it possible to make "2-deck player" for use with audiobooks?

Explain, my dream is:
Main player (WPS) plays audiobook and secondary (menu-based) simultaneously plays some playlist/directory/etc. Volume of secondary player must be hard-connected to main volume with configured attenuation. Second player can have a minimum of controls: play/stop/next/prev/volume/load m3u. All of these controls can be menu-driven (WPS Long press => Alt.player =>  ... )
It will be great feature for all abook-listeners, as for me :)

Although I am not programmer, I think it is not so hard to implement as at first blush.

You wouldn't be able to run two codecs at the same time, since they share the same memory.  I guess in a plugin you could mix in your own audio on top of what the codecs are producing.  It might work if you restricted your audio book to be in one specific format.
