Sansa+ USB activation - boot directly into rockbox instead of original firmware

Greetings!

Now with USB enabled on Sansa Clip+ in Roockbox 3.11, my player still boots into the original firmware when powered off and the USB cable gets connected. I would love to get rid of this behaviour (as for now I unfortunately have to keep the included memory nearly filled up to workaround the otherwise endless database updating process).

Is it still supposed to do so or is it just because I did a manual install over an existing previous version without reinstalling the bootloader or is USB support still not considered stable enough?

bluebrother:
Reinstall the bootloader. The bootloader code installed by a current version of Rockbox Utility changes this behaviour.

Thanks!  :)
Post Merge: April 08, 2012, 09:23:30 AMRe-Installed 3.11 with Rockbox Utility 1.2.13 now, but nothing changed. When the player is turned off and I connect it to my PC (Win7/Linux - no matter what) my Sansa+ still automatically boots into the original firmware.

 ???

Reinstall the bootloader, not 3.11.

puntarenas:
Sorry, didn't make it perfectly clear above. I first (re-)installed the bootloader via Rockbox Utility 1.2.13 under Win7-x64 (therefore downloaded clipplus01.02.16 firmware package from sandisk) and after that re-installed Rockbox 3.11 itself.

Keeps booting into the original firmware when it automatically turns on in response to USB connects. Rockbox 3.11 still boots up fine and works when I manually turn on my Sansa+.
