arboxWidgets missing menu icons
bitcat70:
Hi!
I just installed Rockbox 3.11 (current build) on my Sansa e250 (v1). Originally it wasn't showing as 3.11 so I completely uninstalled it and reinstalled from scratch. It looked ok. Then I installed the arboxWidgets theme. It looks ok except that it's missing the menu icons or rather they aren't the color they used to be (see attachment). Before the upgrade they looked like they do here: http://themes.rockbox.org/index.php?themeid=1215&target=sansae200 Is this the new look or is there something wrong with my Rockbox? I did all my installations through the Rockbox Utility. Thanks for any help.

By that you mean you deleted your .rockbox folder and all the icon sets you had previously installed? If so, you'll have to reinstall them if you want to use them again. Check the "extras" link on the left of your screen.
FWIW, I recommend not deleting your .rockbox folder.

Hi!
I used the Utility for that. I didn't use the file system. But... you gave me an idea. I went into the .rockbox folder and took a look at the cfg file for arboxWidgets. the "iconset" and "viewers iconset" point to "/.rockbox/icons/tango_small.bmp" and "/.rockbox/icons/tango_small_viewers.bmp" respectively. Those files don't exist there. The only ones that are in the icons folder are: "tango_icons.12x12.bmp", "tango_icons_viewers.12x12.bmp" and "viewers.bmp". The files referenced in the cfg file are not in the arboxWidgets zip file or the rockbox for sansa e200 zip file. Where could I get those files as this seems to be the problem?

The theme obviously uses the default icons shipped with Rockbox (i.e. the icons provided by the default theme), but they got renamed in Rockbox. So you simply need to change the filenames in the theme to point to the new icon files.
