"MicroSD Card" shows up in song title. How to remove?

I use Rockbox on Sansaclip+. The song titles have "MicroSD Card" in them. I store the music on this microsd card but do not want that in the display since I'd rather see other info on the song that's playing. Could someone tell me how to get rid of this part of the title. Thanks

So you want to display tags other than title on the WPS?

Install a theme that shows the information you want or write a theme that shows the information you want (see the manual or CustomWPS on the wiki)

This could be caused by your tracks not having album tags and them being stored in the root of the microsd card. Many themes use the name of the enclosing directory as the album name if no album tag is available.

Thanks for the replies. Sorry for my delay in responding. I guess not all the tags are complete. I have all my music in 2 folders on my sd card as well as other folders for pocasts. I never need to see "microsd card". I don't follow what it is I need to do here. Could you explain it in more basic terms? Thanks

I really don't grasp what this means? I am a very basic Rockbox user. Could you elaborate? Thanks

Make sure that the tags are complete for these files. Use a tag editor like foobar2000 (Windows) or Tag and Rename. This *should* stop microsd card from showing up on the player.

AlexP's advice will make a lot more sense if you read the manual. If you have read the manual and still don't understand then please let us know which section and what part of that is confusing and that way the instructions could be changed to be clearer for everyone.

Thanks for the reply. That is a solution I can understand that would seem to solve the problem. It does however mean a fairly huge amount of work . It may be the only solution available but I was hoping there was just a setting somewhere in Rockbox telling it not to ever show "Micro sd card" or perhaps a way to put my music files in another folder on the sd card. I generally just use this thing when I'm driving so I can't be doing lots of investigation as to how each song is tagged. I'm pretty sure most of my songs do have the groups name. Many times it shows the name of the song and  "Micro sd card" but doesn't show the name of the group.
