Quick screen scrolling text bug
« on: March 25, 2012, 12:52:20 PM »
I haven't actually tried this on real hardware as my Clip Zip isn't arrived yet, but I did try the simulators of the Clip Zip, Clip+, and iPod nano 2nd gen simulators and they all exhibited the same problem: quick screen options that are long enough to require scrolling appear to get stuck or display as garbage text. For example, on the Clip Zip the repeat settings appear to get stuck at shuffle even after you continue to cycle through the options (which do actually change properly as can be seen when exiting the quick screen.) Channel configuration settings are even worse and will sometimes start scrolling through the entire character set instead of whatever setting is supposed to be showing.

Just got my Clip Zip, and the bug happens on the real hardware too, not just the simulator.
