Can I play all songs on shuffle mode?

(1/1)

nateshirk:
Seems as though I can only select one Album at a time.  Is there a way to "Play All"?

saratoga:
Using the file browser, you can add folders to a playlist (works well if everything is in a music folder).

Using the database, I think theres a "play all" option.  You could do that and then turn on shuffle.

So instead of adding my music to the music folder, add it to the playlist folder?  What do you mean "using the database" to play all?

No, I mean add everything to a playlist, then set it to random.

Under the database, selecting "tracks" shows you all files on the disk.  If you've got shuffle on they'll be in random order.

I always thought that it would be great to be able to add all music files on both the internal and external drive with a single click and without resorting to the database. Would this be feasible? For example by having a context menu option for the file browser that says: "Add all music on all drives to the playlist"?
