"Resume playback" function freezing, iRiver H10 5GB

I have this bug in 3.9 and 3.10, sometimes the "Resume Playback" function doesn't work at all (music doesn't start to play, or files are loading for about a minute and then play), after this "freeze" I usually need to take the battery off to turn off the player, then turn it on and off, the function *should* work though I always start the music manually. Any people can confirm?

sounds like you might have file corruption. If something as important as playback was generally broken we would know about it. run a full scandisk on the drive.
