Problem when connecting Sansa Fuze w/ Rockbox to PC

My Fuze works fine when not connected to my PC.  However, when I do connect it to add music or whatever, after a few minutes Windows Explorer becomes extremely slow.  I have a 32GB memory card in my Fuze, and I keep all my music on the card (which shows up as the I: drive on my PC).  Simple operations like clicking in and out of folders on the PC take 2-3 minutes each time.  I don't know if this is Rockbox related, but I figured I'd give this forum a shot.  I'm wondering if the problem could be one of the settings within Rockbox.  I'm not too tech-savvy but I know it is not a general USB problem because this does not happen with other devices I connect (like flash drives and external HD).  I would appreciate any suggestions, and again I'm not too tech-savvy so please go easy on me  ;D
