Automatic Installation on Clip Zip

It's in the menu bar (i.e. the bar at the top of the screen on OS X).

Sorry for this grave digging, but even though the current version claims to be released for the Clip Zip (release notes), the rockbox utility doesn't recognize any stable version. I only get "development" and "release candidate".
I take it the latter is to be considered more stable and less "nightly"?

The current version is Rockbox 3.12 which has not been released for the Clip Zip. The next version 3.13 is currently in the release process, but the release hasn't been announced. Anything you already see is just things as they are being worked on.

A release candidate is a test version made of the version that eventually will become the next release. Development versions are rather stable as well usually.
