Binaural Beats
« on: March 21, 2012, 04:00:35 PM »
I've seen this requested before, i.e. a  binaural beat tone generator.

My idea is to implement an engine that can generate tones and read a .gnaural file as a codec, esentially a "Gnuaural codec". Initially, it would support only one binaural voice and later, maybe, also support isocronal beats, noise, etc.

Does Gnuaural actually support fixed point math?  If not, it might be quite a lot of work to port its algorithms.

Edit:  Looking at the sources, they seem to use quite a lot of floating point.
