I'm curious: how many gigabytes can an Archos Jukebox read on a hard disk? does anyone know? The Archos Jukebox 6000 is rockboxed.

As big as you can put in in, but the hardware USB bridge can only see the first ~127GB (IIUC)

Using PMs to annoy devs about bugs/patches is not a good way to have the issue looked at.

Thanks for the answer
. This is how I understand it: the jb can read any size hard disk, but the usb interface can only see 127gb and so will only load 127gb. If I am understanding your answer correctly, is there any way to enable the usb interface to see the entire hd?

Yes, you understand correctly. No, there is no way to change the USB interface; it's just a chip, it doesn't have any way to change its behaviour.
