ipod nano 2nd gen not found
(1/1)
ndimoff:
This is my second ipod Gen2, identical to my first one. RockBox bootloader installed fine on the first one but failed on the second one. I noticed the second ipod is identified as PID 2010 while the first one is 3010. Here is the log:

bluebrother:
The device with PID 2010 is *not* an Ipod. The Ipod is the device with VID: 05ac PID: 1260.
Please post the output of the About / Troubleshooting / System Trace dialog after reproducing the error. The System Info is useful information but not enough to tell anything about your problem.
ndimoff:
Please delete the post. It was an error of mine. I did not choose autodetect. PID 2010 is for ipod 1st/2nd gen, not Ipod nano 2nd gen.
I apologize for this.
Thank you

Good to head you figured it. However, this is simply wrong -- the device with PID 2010 is *not* an Apple device, hence no Ipod. Apple devices show up with VID: 05ac. The device VID: 413c PID: 2010 seems to be a Dell keyboard according to the information found on the web.
