How to install themes on the Clip Zip?

After downloading a theme, should the downloaded file, which has a .rockbox name, just be dragged into the .rockbox folder on the Clip Zip?

Or would it be best to wait a little longer until the themes are again available for the Clip Zip through the Rockbox Utility?

Just drag and drop.  It'll merge with the existing .rockbox folder.

Unless you're on a Mac. OSX's graphical user interface doesn't allow merging folders. Quite a pain…

What version are you talking about? Lion allows folder merging

I have always been partial to the "right click; extract to $destination" approach myself.

Less room for error, on the part of the user.

A user shouldn't ever have to, for lack of any need to do so, manually extract any theme or firmware archive with a correct interior directory structure (read as: supplied by rockbox.org).
