newbie - RB'd iPod 4th Gen Grayscl vs. Philips DS1100 dock (playback/control)

Hello to all,

I'm a very happy user of Rockbox, with an oldie iPod 4th Gen Grayscale. I can easily say that Rockbox ressurected it!

Today I tried connecting it thru the accessory/charging port to a Philips DS1100 - Fidelio docking speaker, and aside from recharging, nothing happens.

The dock works with my wifes' Nano (current model), but not with my Rockboxed Ipod.

I tried updating the Rockbox, setting options. I did read all the info I found here, but could not understand if my device is unsuported or if I'm doing anything wrong.

Two things to note:

1 - Is "Accessory Power Supply" enabled? If not, enable it (some docks require this).
2 - There's a very real chance it just won't work at all, as the iPod Accessory Protocol (IAP) is an advanced form of voodoo written by masochists squirreled away deep inside the Apple catacombs.
