Ipod Video -> Rockbox incompatible with Pro-Ject Dock Box S Digital

In the past I hear my music especially flac files with the Pro-Ject Dock Box Fi and Vi and it worked like a charm. Today i receive the new Pro-Ject Dock Box S Digital but I'm not able to hear my music with this very fine Box.

After connecting the Ipod Rockbox starts but after a few seconds Rockbox shows the USB Picture - USB Keypad mode and that's it.

The main difference between the boxes is that with the new Digital S all signals are directly transferred to 24bit/192kHz highend D/A converters using the digital audio signal from the apple device.

Digital out with Ipod accessories is secured using public key encryption.  Its not possible to use them outside of the Apple firmware.
