Cant download rockbox on e280v1

Everytime i try to download i get error or configuration is wrong the player is set to msc not mtp any ideas? Im new at this and getting frustrated!

It would help a lot if you could take a little time to be more descriptive of the issue. I have found the manual to be very detailed as to installation. Where, within the steps outlined in the manual - exactly - are you having a failure and when you hit a problem,  what - exactly - is the error message.

By the way, you do not mention if you are using the automated or manual method to install. That is also important to mention.

I have read the manual and got to the point of download, when i click that apx 1 inch box the computer says configuration problem.

What are you downloading?
Manual or automatic installation? RockBoxUtility or something else?
What 1 inch box?  A screen shot or link maybe will help.
Nevertheless, at this point I have not a clue what you are talking about so I will leave assistance to others.

It looks like you're trying to use Rockbox Utility. It also looks like your configuration is wrong. What exactly have you selected in the configuration dialog? What exactly does the error message say? Also, please post the output of the About / Troubleshooting / System Info dialog.
